The Local Golfing Circuit

The Paddocks Holiday Village is within easy access to six 18 hole golf courses.  Some of these are very testing parkland courses, offering golfers some exciting challenges.  

In addition, these spacious holiday homes provide plenty of room for equipment and daily cleaning can be arranged, so it’s a perfect base to enjoy your golfing experience.

 

Fota Island Golf Club, host to the Murphy’s Irish Open on two occasions, is a mere 15 minutes away.  Built on a 780 acre estate, Fota Island Golf Club is also home to Fota Wildlife Park.

Old Head of Kinsale is just under an hours drive and is highly recommended to any golfing enthusiast.  Surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, this Par 72 course stretches over 7,200 yards offering golfers some staggering cliff-edge views.

Water Rock is a well-known pay & play course, located just 10 minutes away from the Paddocks Holiday Village, while nearby East Cork Golf Club is only 5 minutes drive.

Youghal Golf Club is 20 minutes from the Paddocks, with a Par 73 course and spectacular views of Youghal Bay.

 

Further west golfers can play the traditional parkland course of Cork Golf Club on Little Island or Monkstown Golf Club.  To the north of the holiday village, golfers can find the challenging Heatherland Course of Fermoy.
